The single greatest lesson the garden teaches is that our relationship to the planet need not be zero-sum, and that as long as the sun still shines and people still can plan and plant, think and do, we can, if we bother to try, find ways to provide for ourselves without diminishing the world.
— Michael Pollan

WHAT TO WEAR
Many of our enthusiastic attendees in the past have dressed to the theme, and this year’s "Oh! Naturale" is no exception. We happily welcome attendees who are inspired by nostalgia and fashion from a bygone era ~ Beverly Hills style! Of course, it is not at all required to dress to the theme to attend. We do encourage attendees to dress comfortably with walking shoes when visiting the various gardens. Many gardens have stone paths or grass. The month of May in Southern California is typically quite warm, so be prepared with layers if the morning is cool, and we definitely recommend that attendees wear sunscreen and a hat!
