Lisa Gimmy’s Firm Recipient of Two ASLA Awards
The Friends of Robinson Gardens is proud of its member Lisa Gimmy whose firm, Lisa Gimmy Landscape Architecture, is the recipient of two American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), Southern California Chapter, “Quality of Life Awards.” The theme of this year’s ASLA awards was “Celebrating the Evolving Vision of California Landscapes.”
Lisa Gimmy Landscape Architecture’s project Spanish Bungalow in Atwater Village received the Honor Award, which is the highest award given in its category. The award recognizes the quality of landscape design and its contribution to neighborhood character. Lisa’s firm acknowledges the client David Collins, and the team of Koffka/Phakos Design, Darin Marten Construction, and New View Landscape for their involvement with the development.
Lisa Gimmy’s firm also received the Merit Award for her collaborative efforts of a seamless flow from interior to exterior landscape space with a Richard Neutra-designed home in Long Beach named the Hafley House.
