Susan Rosenthal and Patti Reinstein chaired a delightful and lovely reception given to welcome ten new members to Robinson Gardens. The luncheon was given at the beautiful home of past President Claudia Deutsch outside in her rose garden. The tables were covered with yellow tablecloths and beautiful centerpieces of a watering can filled with yellow sunflowers and green hydrangeas. The dining table at Claudia’s home was also decorated with exquisite silver lent for the occasion by Christofle. The Friends members were asked to submit their photographs of Virginia Robinson Gardens for an exhibition at the luncheon; Joan Selwyn, Suz Landay, Nancy Miller and Linda Meadows displayed their beautiful impressions of the Gardens. A delicious luncheon was served by The Kitchen for Exploring Foods. Presidents Julia Klein and Adrienne Horwitch gave a lovely speech welcoming the new members who were also given decorated watering cans with floral bulbs to take home.
