Dear Friends, Welcome back after what I hope has been a fun, restful and enriching summer. As your new President, I am grateful for the opportunity to continue the work of the Friends of Robinson Gardens. We have been given the responsibility, in conjunction with the County of Los Angeles, for the restoration, renovation and active Children’s Programs at Virginia Robinson Gardens. It was Virginia’s hope and our duty to keep this exquisite property as a living museum for the benefit of the public. With the lazy days of summer behind us, it is time to capture our restored energy, roll up our sleeves and renew our commitment to the work before us at this incredible estate. SPOTLIGHT FEATURE ON JEANNE ANDERSON
Each month we will spotlight a volunteer, staff member, donor or sponsor of Virginia Robinson Gardens (VRG)—those that have made an impact on the organization. We want to let you, the reader, know a little bit about these wonderful people and corporations that give so much to the Virginia Robinson Gardens and community, and what they do that is so impactful. This month, we are so proud to spotlight our special angel Jeanne Anderson, who in the words of member Diane Jenkins, is the “Mother Earth of Robinson Gardens.” Her dedication and amazing events she organizes has helped Virginia Robinson Gardens flourish and shine like the jewel it is!
