Dr. Tommy Cairns, Scottish born, is an internationally renowned rose expert and exhibitor. He is regarded as the top authority on all aspects of growing roses. He is an accredited judge in the U.S., the United Kingdom and for the World Federation of Rose Societies. He is Past President of the American Rose Society and the World Federation of Rose Societies. Tommy has received the highest awards that can be given by many countries for his work with, and for the advancement of, the rose. He has written or edited the major rose books, the latest being the “Ultimate Rose Book”.  At his home in Studio City, he enjoys almost 1,000 award-winning rose bushes. Tommy is the Curator of the Rose Gardens at Rose Hills in Whittier and is the President for the International Rose Trials held there annually. He is also the designer of the latest Rose Garden at Virginia Robinson Gardens.
