Fellows Enjoy Tour of Ojai Gardens

Nestled among the Topatopa Mountains of central Ventura County, Ojai is not only home to many beautiful ranches and orchards, but also architectural gems of quaint bungalows and historical homes. On November 3rd, the Fellows of Virginia Robinson Gardens caravanned north to the crisp peaks along the Pacific coast, for a day of visual stimulation of captivating landscape designs containing flora both indigenous and extraneous.

The Friends of Robinson Gardens is proud of its member Lisa Gimmy whose firm, Lisa Gimmy Landscape Architecture, is the recipient of two American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), Southern California Chapter, “Quality of Life Awards.” The theme of this year’s ASLA awards was “Celebrating the Evolving Vision of California Landscapes.”

Poulet Palace Turns Two

When Tim Lindsay, Superintendent of the Virginia Robinson Gardens, and the Friends of Robinson Gardens expanded the Children’s Program, they decided that chickens would be a perfect addition. The Beverly Hills Garden Club provided funds to assist in converting a space for the hens.
