What are the hours of operation for the Virginia Robinson Gardens facility?

The Virginia Robinson Gardens is open from 10:00am – 3:00pm Tuesday through Friday. We are closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Is the facility open to the public for tours?

The Virginia Robinson Gardens is open to the public by appointment only.

How do I schedule a visit?

To schedule a tour please call us at (310) 550-2087. Please note that all tours must be scheduled in advance. We are unable to accommodate walk-ins due to our limited number of docents.

What is the cost for tours?

$11.00 for adults, $6.00 for students, $6.00 for seniors (62+), and $4.00 for children (5-12)

Who are the Friends of Robinson Gardens and how are they affiliated with the estate?

The Friends of Robinson Gardens is a volunteer group that supports and underwrites the Virginia Robinson Gardens, helping to preserve the rich cultural history of Los Angeles. Friends also volunteer their time, financial resources, and expertise to provide ongoing community education. The group also resolves to secure the necessary funding for these programs and to initiate new and innovative plans to maintain these gardens and estate for all future generations.

What is the Robinson Gardens Society?

It is a type of membership at the Robinson Gardens that allows members to a free docent lead tour and discounted rates for programs at the Gardens.

What is your annual “ ... into the garden” Benefit Garden Tour?

The event showcases an outstanding venue of five grand private gardens. This self- guided tour includes a lovely luncheon at the fabled Virginia Robinson Gardens Estate, where guests can view the six-acre garden oasis located in the heart of Beverly Hills. Mrs. Robinson’s historic home is open and decorated by remarkable floral and room designers expressing each year’s theme. Guests are invited to enjoy floral design demonstrations, an opportunity drawing, as well as shopping in the unique boutiques made available at the estate that day. Proceeds from the Benefit Garden Tour help preserve the Virginia Robinson Gardens as well as allow the Friends of Robinson Gardens to provide on-going community education and outreach programs.

When is the “... into the garden” Benefit Garden Tour held?

The annual Benefit Fundraiser Garden Tour is held every year on the third Friday in May from 10 am to 4 pm.

No, per Mrs. Robinson’s Will (no political or religious events are allowed).

Are wedding photos allowed at the estate?

Yes, you can reserve the gardens for a photo shoot. Please call (310) 550-2087 to make a reservation.
